Better Ejaculation Release Related Links Blood Pressure-What It Means Foods That Reduce Blood Pressure Low Folate Harms Sperm Penis Shaving Bumps-Home Remedies Foods That Strengthen Erectile Performance Exercises That Improve Erectile Dysfunction By Editors of Mangoboss October 1, 2009, last updated March 1, 2013 "I have no problem getting an erection. But my problem is that it takes me forever to come. When I start to thrust, I start thinking about other things and I can't come. It makes my girlfriend sore and then she gets reluctant to have sex with me next time". Difficulty in ejaculating, technically known as "delayed ejaculation" can be painful physically and create problems in your relationships. Physically, men need to ejaculate to release the build of seminal fluid which can otherwise be painful. In addition to delayed ejaculation, many men suffer from the opposite problem --premature ejaculation. Scientists have learned that either problem --delayed ejaculation or premature ejaculation --can have serious health consequences. If you come too frequently or not enough, you can develop a condition called prostatitis, inflammation of the prostate gland. You may have prostatitis if you start to have to urinate frequently or you experience burning at the tip of your penis or burning when you urinate or when you come. Some men with prostatitis also have trouble maintaining an erection or they get pain in their testicles, lower back or the perineum (the sling between your rectum and your penis). This is not good. So, how do you make it easier to ejaculate? Here is a tried and true routine. 1. Warm Bath. Take a warm (not hot, guys) bath for about half an hour each day. 2. Avoid riding a bicycle or horseback riding. (Not a big give up for most of us non-cowboys). 3. Stay away from the spicy foods for awhile. 4. Wear looser underwear. Give up the teeny-weenies and the tidy-whities for a while and let the tackle fly free and easy in boxers. 5. Consider using pharmaceutical treatments. Researchers have successfully treated premature ejaculation with various drugs, including topical anaesthetics and tramadol. A 2007 study from HagaHospital Leyenburg in The Netherlands discovered that a cocktail of drugs appears to help reduce premature ejaculation:"A meta-analysis of those studies, conducted in accordance with current standards of evidence-based medicine, demonstrated similar efficacies for daily treatment with the serotonergic antidepressants paroxetine hemihydrate, clomipramine, sertraline and fluoxetine, with paroxetine (hydrochloride) hemihydrate exerting the strongest effect on ejaculation." 6. Do exercises that strengthen your pelvic floor. The pelvic floor muscles are responsible for the strength of your ejaculation -- how far and fast the semen is thrust from the penis. (Read more about exercises that strengthen erectile performance.) One of the best exercises you can do to strengthen your pelvic floor is to practice stopping your urine midstream. Literally, the next time you go to the bathroom to urinate, practice trying to stop. This exercise reaches the exact muscles you also use to project your semen. (Read bout how to stop burning when you pee.) 7. Increase Water Volume to Increase Semen Release. Since semen is mostly water, you also need to make sure that you have enough water on board in order to have an adequate ejaculation release. Aim for 8 glasses of water a day. It also helps to eat foods high in water content such as fruits and vegetables, if you truly want to hydrate well, new research has found. You should also avoid drinking too many sodas. New research has found that men who drink sodas have less semen volume. (Read more about how soda drinks affect semen quality.) Register Now-it's free, easy and fast.
